I have a cold, I hate it.

I have a stupid job interview tomorrow, so I can't sleep in, and I don't even want the job! Hopefully someone else will call and give me an interview because I really don't want to work at the Gap.

Life is tedious this week.

We're all moved in here in Waterloo and so far no complaints... well I complain to myself about many things, but in general things are great. The guys are nice, our stuff is good, the house is great.
School starts Monday and I'm ready to start. Hopefully I like it.

Today is an awesome day!! First, I got up and made coffee, then as I was doing that, Dale went through the mail and I got my "to whom it may concern" letter from the University so that I can get money out from my RESP. Then we checked my e-mail and I also got a message from Financial Aid saying my loan application was approved! THEN a guy came to the door and it was Purolator with my brand new laptop!!! Excellent day, I must say!

Considering yesterday was exhausting and the day of Zadie's funeral, today is even better in contrast!

In one month I will no longer be a resident of Quebec. This month seems to be shorter than the past few too. Tomorrow is my parents' 30th wedding anniversary and I want to have some friends over, but my mom doesn't want a party, therefore nothing is planned.
On the 23rd I am having dental surgery to get my wisdom teeth out. On the 28th my fees are due for school (money I don't have). On the 29th we move into our new house and have to buy some chairs and a mattress and stuff. And then I have to start paying all sorts of crazy bills. (phone, internet, electricity etc.)

Sometimes I feel like there's a sport I don't know about: let's make Sarah feel stupid!


I finished Harry Potter last night. It's pretty great, and sad of course because it's over. But mostly great.

1. If you were going to remake a movie, what would it be and who would you cast in the roles? Love Story, it was also an adaptation from a book, and I don't think the movie did the novel justice. I would cast... Kieran Culkin and Alexis Bledel in the leading roles
2. If you could turn a book into a movie, what would it be and who would you cast in the roles? The Outsiders, I know it's already been made, but I hated the movie version. I would do it with a bunch of unknown kids who could actually act
3. If you were going to turn a video game into a movie, what would it be? Would it be animated or live-action? Where in the World in Carmen Sandiego, it would be live action like the TV show
4. You're going to turn a book into a TV series. What is it? Why would it make a good TV show? Harry Potter, it would be much better as a tv show, 'cause then you wouldn't have to cut everything good out. The adventures in the first books are somewhat episodal, so I think with some clever adaptation it would make a good tv show
5. Do you generally prefer the movie versions or the novel versions of works? Novel, no question!! Though The Virgin Suicides was an EXCELLENT adaptation, considering

I woke up way early this morning, I have no idea why, so I'm awake and Dale's still in bed. I made coffee and had breakfast, but it's kind of awkward this morning 'cause the cleaning lady's here and I don't want to get in her way.
